A Taste of History: 2024 Fundraising Gala Event

Sponsors of the Yellowstone County Museum are welcomed to join us for an evening celebrating local history with music, food, and good friends.  The party kicks off with a big thank you to our sponsors followed by live entertainment with Little Joe and the Cartwrights, substantial hors d'oeuvres, and an open bar.

One of the many sections of the Museum storage unit. We are near completing our goal of storing the entire collection using museum best practices.

All funds raised will go towards achieving our 2024-2025 goals.


•Facilities Upgrade – access to the lower-level, move the entrance to the annex, and new bathrooms.
•McCormick Cabin – remove stairs and install flooring that matches the original.
•Install new homesteader exhibit in the McCormick Cabin.
•Continue to develop exhibits focused on local history.
•Finish storing all items in the collection to the highest museum standards.
•Become a nationally accredited museum.
•Expand educational and outreach programming.
•Grow partnerships with local organizations.
•Develop strategies to expand the Museum footprint.
